Trail Overview

This trail branches off from the main arterial route and does not appear to be used frequently, giving it a quieter, more secluded feel than many of the surrounding roads. The undergrowth is quite overgrown in sections, with vegetation occasionally encroaching on the trail, but the route remains accessible for capable off-road vehicles. Along the way, the trail passes by the Little La Pine cemetery, which seems to be related to the Killinger family, before winding into the hills, where it eventually connects with another trail. Although it primarily serves as a connector route, it offers a fun drive with plenty of twists, turns, and changing scenery, making it a worthwhile addition to the surrounding trail network. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.

Difficulty

This trail is quite easy to follow, but be careful in the overgrown sections and on the narrow, winding terrain to avoid pinstriping.
