Trail Overview

Dusty Road is a Forest Service-style road providing access to the northern portion of the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge. The trail is predominantly a narrow, dirt and gravel double-track that is generally easy to traverse, featuring only a few small ruts or bumps. This trail is a perfect option for those who want to explore and wildlife watch. Because the trail winds through a national refuge, a variety of bird and animal species can be seen throughout. The trail originates in a wooded area, transitions to an open field, and ends at Andrews Pond Road.
