Trail Overview

This is a relatively easy and enjoyable drive with excellent views. This entire area has a bunch of great trails and is perfect for OHVs. Make a trip of it with friends and family by camping and visiting the town of Meeker.

Difficulty

Easy. Wide dirt road with some intermittent bumpy sections. Four-wheel drive helpful but not necessary when road is dry. Early season conditions may be muddy. Unlicensed vehicles can find a wide range of difficulty on side trails.

Access Description

From Meeker, take Highway 13 north less than 3 miles and turn right on County Road 15. The road is paved at first but soon becomes smooth oiled dirt. Drive another 11 miles to a large parking area on the right just before Yellow Jacket Pass.
