Gould Creek Road

This out-and-back trail descends from Gold Camp Road into a peaceful, quiet valley with a small creek running alongside most of the way. There are occasional off-camber rocky sections, but nothing too challenging for those with some off-road experience. Once you reach the valley floor, take in the views of dramatic rock formations and find that there are many dispersed campsites to choose from, mostly on the east side of the trail. There is a barbed wire fence at the end of the trail immediately before a muddy/boggy area. Use the large area before the fence line to turn around before making your way back out. Great trail to enjoy cooler temperatures and some solitude!
