Trail Overview
From top to bottom, this is a very enjoyable, gentle trail that can be driven comfortably in either direction. Traveling downhill offers some of the best views of the surrounding mountains in the distance. The route winds through stands of pine forest before opening into several meadows and clearings with scenic mountain views. Wildlife is abundant throughout this area, and it is not uncommon to see large herds of big game. The trail is relatively easy, with occasional loose rocks and a few sections where careful tire placement is important. The surrounding network of trails offers similar terrain and difficulty, making this an excellent area for less experienced drivers looking to build their off-road skills and confidence. With basic driving experience and attention to the terrain, most vehicles should have little trouble navigating these trails.
