This short out-and-back route ends at the boundary of private property and offers an easy drive through rolling terrain. Shortly after leaving the trailhead, you’ll pass through an open gate with an overhead height restriction before beginning a gentle descent down the hillside. Along the way, there is a quality dispersed campsite and several sections of loose rock. A few mildly inclined climbs and descents may cause some wheel slip for vehicles without 4WD, but in dry conditions the route is generally straightforward and suitable for most high-clearance vehicles. The combination of easy terrain and peaceful surroundings makes this a pleasant option for a quick outing or an overnight camp.
