Trail Overview

This short route climbs into the surrounding hills, featuring several moderately steep sections covered with loose rock where 4WD is recommended and aired-down tires can improve both traction and ride comfort. While the trail itself is relatively short, it serves as a gateway to several other mapped routes that continue deeper into the backcountry and higher into the surrounding terrain. Depending on your plans, this route can be enjoyed as a quick out-and-back excursion or incorporated into a longer loop through the area’s extensive trail network.

Difficulty

In dry conditions, this trail is not particularly difficult for vehicles equipped with 4WD. While a few sections of loose rock and moderate grades may be encountered, most drivers will have little trouble completing the route. Airing down your tires can improve traction and ride quality, especially on the rougher sections, but overall this is a straightforward and enjoyable trail under favorable conditions.
