Trail Overview

This trail is a fun hill climb connector from FS 1813 to Pilot Rock Mountain Road if traveled from South to North. Several water bars keep the trail from stepping upward and your vehicle from pitching up and down. You'll encounter rock obstacles less than 6 inches tall. About halfway, logging has provided an excellent view of the valley to the southeast. North of this viewpoint, you'll drop into several shallow mudholes with hard bottoms that won't swallow your tires. The trail continues to curve and step up until it meets Pilot Rock Mountain Road.

Used this as intended to cut from pilot rock to Jake's creek rd. I stop and asked a local the conditions right before the turn off. He said take it slow and you'll make it. Reminded me of carwash Falls in technicality.

Actually a fun trail, try to go after the rain. Lots of hard bottom mud holes and small ledges. Some washouts. Anyone with 30+ inch tires can do this.
