Trail Overview

PE1045 is a point-to-point trail that begins off PE1037 or PE1046 and travels east to west across relatively flat, easy terrain. The trail consists mainly of loose gravel with typical desert bumps and winds through the open desert, with expansive mountain views in every direction. No obstacles or technical areas make this an easy connector trail within the network. No camping is found on the trail. You can access several additional trails in this network from PE1045. Be aware that future monsoon activity will continue to change the landscape. This area is within a flash-flood zone, so always use caution and check weather conditions before and during your trip. If stopping along the trail, watch pets and children around the ground-cover cactus.
