FS 9243P

Forest Service Road 9243P stretches just over two miles and connects Forest Roads 9243N and 142H. This trail description follows the route from west to east. The western portion of the trail features a fairly rocky surface with scattered rock gardens and loose rocks along the route. As you continue east, the terrain gradually becomes less rocky and easier to navigate. Approaching Tanque Tank, the trail transitions primarily to dirt with a few small rutted sections. Near the eastern end of the trail, you’ll encounter a gate that must be opened and closed behind you after passing through.
