Trail Overview

This trail consists of two forest roads and measures just over 4 miles in length. It begins on Highway 260 and travels northwest. The first section features a dirt surface with small rock gardens scattered along the route. A few large rocks in the middle of the trail appear to have claimed the undersides of some vehicles. As the trail continues west, the rocky terrain becomes more frequent and challenging. The western stretch also offers several scenic viewpoints, making it a great place to stop and take in the surrounding landscape. Use caution: a broken, sharp fence post sits low in the middle of the trail, just after the first gate off the highway, and could puncture a tire.
