Highbush Spur Road - 50041

50041 - Highbush Spur Road is a gravel road with some grass or vegetation starting to grow on the trail. It starts out by passing a scenic creek and has a pull-out area suitable for a vehicle camp area before the road starts to climb with a drop-off on the slope side. There are many waterways flowing under this road and there is potential for washouts. The road gets steep and has some potholes and steep drop-offs. There are lots of Bear sign on this trail and there are areas where the brush is encroaching on the road. At the top, it flattens out for a nice place to park and look at the view of Eastern Passage or possibly camp in your vehicle. Just be mindful that this is an active Bear area so use Bear safety if staying on this road. This is a rainforest so watch for possible washouts. The turn around at the top is smaller so it is not advisable to bring a large rig or a trailer up this road.
