Trail Overview

Fools Inlet 6270 is a one-lane gravel road. There are potholes typical of this style of road. Fools Inlet 6270 connects to 6 spur roads, 5 are all vehicle roads and 1 is an ATV/Bike road. This road travels through treed areas and large open muskeg and passes over wooden bridges with flowing creeks and a waterfall. This is a scenic drive and areas to spot wildlife. There is lots of Bear sign on this road so be aware of bear safety. There are some pull-off areas to let other vehicles pass. This has been graded and most of the road is rated a 2 with some sections that would be rated a 3. One possible Vehicle camp area towards the end of the road before Paw turnoff on the left. After Paw turns off the gravel road turns into a grass road and goes about 230 yards before ending abruptly. There isn't a turnaround at the end so it is not advisable to pull a trailer or RV down this last stretch.
