Boardwalk Trail

This trail begins at the parking area next to the concession stand and beach. The first half of this trail is on a boardwalk that, while nice, could use some minor maintenance much like the other boardwalks in the park. In this section, it passes over a beaver dam and its reservoir. There are many butterflies and dragonflies in this area. After it leaves the boardwalk, the trail follows a gravel path that is very well maintained. Finally, it transitions into the grass and passes a group of cabins until it meets its terminus at Cabin Colony Road.
