Point to Point
This multi-use route begins near Falls Creek just north of DuBois and follows a former rail corridor north to McMinns Summit near Brockway. Maintained by Washington Township and owned by Headwaters Charitable Trust, the route is part of the Tricounty Rails to Trails system. The surface is primarily crushed stone and gravel, with a gentle grade and minimal elevation change, making it accessible for hikers, runners, and cyclists. Dogs are permitted on leash.
Starting near Triangle Tech Road, the route parallels US‑219, crossing several small roads and creeks, including Wolf Run and Harvey’s Run. Bridges span the waterways, and the surrounding forest and meadows provide frequent opportunities to spot wildlife like deer and wild turkeys. Though the trail runs close to the highway in some sections, it offers a peaceful, wooded experience between rural towns. This easy, year-round route is ideal for families or anyone looking for a relaxed day outdoors on a well-maintained rail trail.
