FS 368

FS 368 is mainly a gravel forest road in part of the Marlinton Ranger District in Monongahela National Forest. It is a spur from FS 24 and provides access to the 368 spur roads in this forest tract. It traverses a plateau on the ridgeline and has more wide open skies than canopy. It is quite scenic and a very enjoyable drive that includes some large rock formations and ponds. This is one of the better areas of southern Monongahela National Forest for just driving around, as several spurs are available, depending on the time of year, and you can pack a lunch and explore for half a day. There's nothing difficult, but it is a fun area to cruise and soak in the solitude. It ends at a gate. It's slightly easier to turn around at the "gate ahead" sign than at the gate itself.
