Trail Overview

This is a forest road in the Gauley Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest that connects FS 86 along the Williams River to FS 425. It is an out-and-back trail from the perspective that it only connects to FS 425 and ends at the top of the mountain, as noted on the sign for FS 133 on FS 86. It is notable as it provides access to the private Zirkle's Camp where it runs into FS 425. Technically, FS 133 continues east at the camp, but it is gated at that point. It's a scenic and peaceful drive through dense forest that gains about 1000 feet of elevation over the course of its length. It crosses a tributary to the White Oak Fork with a small bridge over a ravine about halfway up to the camp. There are no dispersed sites along this Forest Service route.
