Trail Overview

Van Zandt - 41 is a 1.4-mile out-and-back route open to street-legal vehicles. This single-lane gravel road travels through Washington DNR land, and a Discover Pass is required to recreate in the area. Several established dispersed campsites can be found along the route, while the final few hundred yards become heavily overgrown as the road narrows. A short shelf road section near the end offers scenic views of the Van Zandt Valley and surrounding forested hills.
