Trail Overview

A short trail that takes you to an awesome camp spot near a small waterfall and creek. Old-growth type forest lines the trail and the last section to the camp spot is lined with ferns. Decent spot for a few vehicles and is very secluded. Beautiful all year and even better in the snow. The trail is an easy fire road but crosses over a little rut and climbs a bit into the campsite.

Difficulty

Trail is a fire road for 95 percent but then you turn onto a tight trail that begins with a rut and you need to clip up a little to the camp spot. Does get very muddy when it rains and there is snow in the winter but not very deep.

A few people here but a super easy trail! Lots of pot holes you might wanna take slow but nothing too challenging! There is a section where its muddy on the side the water is a lot deeper then it looks! Plenty of places to pull over or to turn around!

Quite a few potholes. Plenty of places to pull off and turn around. There was a BMW sedan at the trailhead, not sure I would venture the potholes in anything less than a Subaru myself though. Some really nice views of the falls about 1.5 miles into the trail if you choose to walk it.

Trail has a few potholes, and is muddy after a rain. It’s nice and wide with plenty of spots to pull off/ turn around. The road ends at boulder River trailhead which takes you on an 8.1 mile hike past a few waterfalls along the river.

Trail is fine in lost places but there are quite few stretches with numerous potholes that may cause issues for lower vehicles. Take your time and you’ll do fine.
