Trail Overview
Ruftac is a flowy and easy single track through the Little Pend Oreille Trail System. The north end starts on the Rufus ATV trail, and it ends on the south end on the Tacoma Divide singletrack. It is 3.7 miles long, with constant quick curves through a lush forest of pines and cedars. Throughout the route, the trail goes up and down small hills, with flowy tight turns, on mostly smooth dirt. There are intermittent embedded rock surfaces, loose rock, or roots, but no major obstacles. You’ll go over a couple cattle grates and through road intersections, but there are signs warning you when these are upcoming. It’s overall very easy and approachable for newer riders.
Difficulty
This is an easy single track ideal for newer or younger riders as it is gradual, flowy, and smooth. The main technical element is the constant tight turns.
