Trail Overview

This is a smooth, hard-packed gravel road that travels through the National Forest. This trail is suitable for any vehicle type and leads to the Pewee Falls overlook trailhead. At the end of the trail, there is a parking lot, a flushing toilet restroom with power and a sink, and a building overlooking the dam with information boards. The trail has a warning sign for a "steep road," but that sign is not correct, as the trail gradually climbs only about 200' in elevation. Cell phone service was decent along this trail, and the full bathroom with power is the only amenity available. The nearest services and supplies are to the south in Metaline Falls, Washington.
