Papillon - FS 5000999

Papillon - FS 5000999 is a 2.3-mile out-and-back route through Colville National Forest. This winding, single-lane gravel and dirt road includes a few narrow shelf-road sections, with occasional views through the trees. The route ends at the boundary with private timberland. While the road continues onto private land, it becomes increasingly overgrown and appears to be unmaintained beyond the National Forest boundary. The route is closed to motorized travel from December 1 through March 31.
