Trail Overview

FS 4832 in the Wenatchee National Forest is a smooth, well-maintained forest road that makes for an easy and enjoyable offroad drive. The surface is primarily hard-packed dirt and gravel, suitable for most high clearance vehicles and even accessible for stock 4WD setups in dry conditions. The route winds through dense evergreen forest with occasional openings that reveal sweeping views of the surrounding Cascades, especially as you gain elevation. It’s a relaxing drive overall, ideal for those looking to explore without tackling technical terrain. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and experience the area. Several spur roads lead to dispersed camping spots tucked into the trees, offering quiet, scenic places to spend the night. The forest is also a great base for hiking, with nearby trails branching off into more rugged terrain and viewpoints. Wildlife is commonly spotted here, so keep an eye out for deer, elk, and a variety of birds. In season, the area is popular for hunting as well. FS 4832 is a great jumping-off point for exploring the Wenatchee National Forest, whether you’re out for a casual drive or planning a full day of adventure.
