Trail Overview

FS 1936 is a 19.5-mile point-to-point route through Colville National Forest. The road begins as a well-maintained, single-lane gravel route with only a few areas of very minor water damage. Past Campsite 2, the character of the road changes as the surface transitions from gravel to dirt. Sections of embedded rock create a rougher and more primitive drive through the latter portion of the route. FS 1936 is open seasonally to highway-legal vehicles.
