Totten Branch - FS 878

Totten Branch (FS 878) is a short Forest Service road that branches off Punch and Judy (FS 618). The first three-quarters of the route consists of a standard, rugged Forest Service road featuring a few ruts and potholes before eventually splitting into two short tracks no longer than a few hundred yards each. The left fork is longer and features a moderate-sized mud pit and deep ruts, which can be highly challenging for ill-equipped vehicles. Past this mud pit, the trail continues to a campsite suitable for a few vehicles and reaches Lick Creek; while the trail appears to cross the water, depths remain unknown. To the right of the split, the track gradually disappears into dense overgrowth. It should be noted that the trail is seasonally open during specific date ranges: 01/01-01/09, 04/02-05/21, 09/25-12/31.
