Trail Overview
Baker Branch (FS 614) is a Forest Service road located within the Jefferson National Forest that provides access to a variety of other trails in the area. The route is well-maintained and features recent improvements, including newly graded gravel sections, minimal potholes, and smooth grades. The road is also generally wide enough to allow oncoming vehicles to pass easily. Along the route, a few clearings offer scenic views of the surrounding forest and nearby creeks. Difficulty
The trail is well-maintained, featuring recent grading and fresh gravel across the majority of the route. While a few sections contain small ruts, they can easily be avoided with proper line choice.
