Trail Overview

This is a gravel FS road leading to prime trout water. It's a scenic short path off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Go to the end of the road and take a left onto Jennings Creek. The trout water parallels the road for a few miles. The water is stocked and there are 2 nearby campgrounds off Jennings Creek Road.

This shouldn't even be in the app as a guided trail. It's just a short forest service road that people blast up and down at 30MPH+. Don't waste your time going here.

A beautiful drive on Blue Ridge Parkway from Blue Ridge, VA outside Roanoke to the trail entrance along the parkway. I drive the length of the trail to Jennings Creek Rd and back. The trail was well maintained, dusty with some washboard spots. I was there midday on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy, passing 6 or so other vehicles along the way. Kind of tight in spots with many blind curves so go slowly. Local thru traffic was flying!
