Trail Overview

Homestead Road is a bidirectional trail that can be accessed from either Highway 16 or Fairwood Road at the Fox Creek Horse Camp. The route consists primarily of hard-packed gravel and dirt, making it suitable for nearly any passenger vehicle in normal weather conditions. Along the trail, visitors will find a small dispersed campsite, as well as a historic church dating back to the early 1800s that remains in use today. The trail also provides access to the Comers Creek Falls hiking trailhead, located near the Highway 16 entrance, making it an excellent option for those looking to combine a scenic drive with a short hike.
