Trail Overview

This short trail branches off of Leidy Peak just before the end and travels to Hacking Lake. This trail is an easy trail, with the only obstacles being a few shallow ruts as well as a small creek crossing to navigate. Despite being a short trail, it is scenic, as it follows along the open meadow where North Fork Ashley Creek Runs and ends at Hacking Lake, which sits below the ridge Leidy Peak Trailhead sits atop. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no set seasonal closure date, but will be impassable due to deep snow from winter through early summer due to deep snow accumulation.
