Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back trail that runs through the forest and dead-ends at a small turnaround. This trail starts as a well-maintained road until you reach the split for Lost Park, where the trail becomes a little rougher before reaching a large parking area with a gate; past the gate, the trail becomes overgrown and a little rougher. Past that point, vehicles should expect pinstriping, and larger vehicles will likely not fit past that point. The trail dead ends at a thin spot in the trees at a pair of small turnaround areas. There is no view at the end of this trail from the ground, but using a drone to get above the tree line, you can look out to the north and see down into Deep Creek and to Flaming Gorge. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no seasonal closure date, but will be inaccessible due to deep snow during the winter and spring months.
