Leidy Peak - FS 10043

This trail splits from Red Cloud Loop and heads up to the base of Leidy Peak, reaching just below 11,000 feet in elevation, where it ends at a trailhead. This trail is well maintained and has no obstacles as it climbs to the trailhead, staying wide enough for vehicles to pass through. At the top, there is an overlook at the trailhead that is commonly used as a dispersed campsite, with plenty of parking located at the trailhead, which provides direct access to the Uinta Highline Trail. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no seasonal closure date, but will be impassable due to deep snow, usually from late November through June.
