Trail Overview
This short route may not cover many miles, but it packs in enough obstacles and scenery to make it a worthwhile adventure. The trail includes sections of exposed rock slab that require slow, controlled crawling, along with a few washouts that demand careful tire placement and attention to approach angles. While the obstacles are brief, they add just enough challenge to keep the drive interesting for high-clearance vehicles. As you continue, the trail opens to an impressive viewpoint overlooking the Green River, with expansive views of distant rock formations stretching toward the Moab area. The contrast between the river corridor and the surrounding desert cliffs makes the destination feel bigger than the route itself. On the return drive, the scenery continues with broad views of nearby mesas, layered sandstone, and rugged terrain, making the entire trip rewarding from start to finish.
Difficulty
This is a short trail with a few technical features that raise it above a basic scenic drive. Rock slab crawling and washouts require careful tire placement, controlled throttle, and decent ground clearance, but there are no extreme obstacles described.
