Trail Overview

Two Mules (V15) is an extreme rock-crawling trail inside Escondido Draw Recreation Area that runs parallel to Drifter (V16) through some of the park’s most rugged terrain. The route climbs through large boulders, exposed rock, and steep, uneven sections that require careful line selection and precise vehicle placement. This trail is designed for purpose-built rock crawlers and experienced drivers looking for a serious technical challenge. As the route gains elevation, it also provides impressive views across Escondido Draw and the surrounding West Texas landscape.
