I recently took on a stretch of the leg, and let me tell you—it delivered. Twisting turns, wide-open views. I rolled out from Dallas and dropped into the trail near Rhode Island (TX-75 S & FM 833 E), Followed the path through hills and dirt roads until I had to come to a stop and exit out near Eunice (Hwy 7 & Co Rd 231). . Hopefully I’ll get to drive the whole thing next time—start to finish.

Trail is washed out but you can get by. If you get by that kind of terrain turns into deep mud.

Hopped on at Huntsville and rode up to Crockett. Trail was wet and muddy the majority of the way but passable with no blocks or issues.

Tail from intersection with Red Hollow Run to about mile 252 of the trail was open. Around Mile 252 there is a locked gate. Trail up to that point was muddy and had some very technical sections where water has washed out the road. Made for a lot more fun wheeling.

We got on the Texas Traverse Leg 1 at Joaquin, TX and stayed on it until the T at hwy 139. This was a very short leg and was completely open with no wash outs or gates. Easy drive, for any vehicle. We stopped at a bridge for picnic lunch.
