Terlingua Ranch Gate 2 Road

Terlingua Ranch Gate 2 Road is a remote desert backroad that begins in Study Butte and travels through wide-open West Texas terrain before ending at Canyon Road. This segment is part of a longer route network that can ultimately connect travelers to the Big Bend National Park Main Park Road. The road surface consists primarily of gravel and compact dirt with light washboarding and occasional uneven stretches. Drivers will experience expansive desert vistas, rugged mountain backdrops, and the quiet isolation that defines this region of the Chihuahuan Desert. Portions of the surrounding land are private property. Remain on established roads at all times and respect property boundaries.
