Trail Overview

Saddle Up is a scenic connector trail located within the CAT Mountain area of Concan Adventure Trails. The route winds through tall vegetation and Hill Country terrain while linking drivers to several other nearby trails throughout the area. Compared to the more technical routes around CAT Mountain, Saddle Up offers a much more relaxed drive with a quieter backroad feel and plenty of natural scenery along the way.

On this trail, you’ll encounter a mostly smooth gravel and dirt surface with minimal obstacles or technical sections. Under dry conditions, the trail remains easy and straightforward, though mud and slick surfaces can develop after rain and temporarily increase the difficulty. Overall, Saddle Up is considered an easy trail suitable for most stock high-clearance vehicles and beginner off-road drivers.
