Laco Road 12

Laco Road is an easy access point into the Royal Blue Unit of the North Cumberland OHV Riding Area. It starts off of Norma Road at the Cumberland Trailhead/Staging Area, then crosses the New River. The road is a narrow single-lane trail with gravel and small loose rocks, riding through a dense forest with lots of shade. There are lots of shallow ruts, and a few bigger ruts off to the side of the trail and in the middle of the trail at times. This trail is mostly dry and not very muddy, as it has lots of sunny spots. Expect a few spots with chunky, bigger loose rocks and a few hairpin turns, but no major obstacles. It accesses a couple of unmarked spur trails right at the beginning, but continues west for 2.4 miles to connect to Laco Pit Trail.
