Ellis Point Road

This is the beginning portion of Ellis Point Rd. It is well maintained, but steep in a a couple of places. The trail is primarily dirt and mostly wooded. All trails at Prentice Cooper are subject to seasonal and weather related closures. More information can be found at https://www.tn.gov/agriculture/forests/state-forests/prentice-cooper.html Prentice Cooper State Forest is located in southeastern Tennessee in Marion County, along the scenic Tennessee River Gorge. The forest is approximately 10 miles west of Chattanooga and is a popular destination for visitors.
