Trail Overview

Minchner Point Road is an easy dirt trail through the woods. It is on the west side of Prentice Cooper and connects the main Tower Road trail to Dry Branch Road. All trails at Prentice Cooper are subject to seasonal and weather-related closures. More information can be found at https://www.tn.gov/agriculture/forests/state-forests/prentice-cooper.html. Prentice Cooper State Forest is located in southeastern Tennessee in Marion County, along the scenic Tennessee River Gorge. The forest is approximately 10 miles west of Chattanooga and is a popular destination for visitors.
