Torso Lake - FS 2076

This is a dirt-based forest road that is narrow with room to pass, leading to Torso Lake where it dead ends. There are ruts and washouts up to a foot deep, and a rock garden that has some boulders sticking out of the ground up to a foot. If choosing the correct line, any vehicle type should be able to traverse this trail. On the trail, you will have good views of the peaks and ridges around you and of Torso Lake, which is a beautiful lake with green water and cleared-out forest around it. Camping is allowed along this entire trail with many pre-existing campsites, and you will pass several different lakes. There are no amenities along the trail, and cell phone service is weak, so you should travel prepared. The nearest services and supplies are in Sisters, Oregon, approximately 35 minutes from the beginning of this trail.
