Trail Overview

This is a dirt-based forest with some gravel sections. The trail leads down to the Blue Lake area near Elliot R Corbett State Park. The trail descends over 500 feet in elevation with multiple switchbacks. There are ruts and washouts up to a foot deep and lots of humps/whoops to navigate. The trail goes until it becomes so overgrown and lined with tight trees until a Jeep will no longer fit, which is where it ends in a campsite. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and you will enjoy views of the peaks around and the old burned/clear cut area leading to the lake. Cell phone service was weak, and there are no amenities along the trail, so travel prepared. The nearest services are in the town of Sisters, approximately 20 minutes from the beginning of this trail. Any vehicle type could traverse this trail.
