Trail Overview
This is a narrow, dirt-based forest road with few places to pass that leads to Meadow Lake. There are multiple humps/whoops to navigate that make you feel like you are riding waves in the ocean, a rock climb that is approximately 3 feet tall, and towards the end of the trail there is a deep gully approximately 20 yards long full of mud with about a 2-foot drop into it on both sides. High-clearance 4x4 is recommended for this trail. The trail ends at a very nice campsite by the water's edge that has a pre-existing fire ring and a toilet seat/box on the bank. The lake is good-sized and beautiful with some grassy banks. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, but there are no amenities and weak cell phone service at best. The nearest supplies and services are over 45 minutes away in the town of Sisters.
