Difficulty

This is a wide, hard-packed two-lane gravel out-and-back spur that is remarkably easy to navigate. The consistently smooth, well-graded surface is exceptionally forgiving and remains completely free of any major technical obstacles, deep water bars, or large embedded rocks. Because the comfortable route does not require elevated ground clearance or specialized traction systems to safely traverse, it is wonderfully accessible during normal seasonal conditions. Simply maintain a polite, sensible speed around the forested bends, watch for oncoming recreational traffic, and enjoy an effortless, bump-free ride to the trailhead.
