Trail Overview

This is a narrow, dirt-based forest road. The trail crosses a power line that has a large dip on the backside, and there are ruts and washouts up to a foot deep. After crossing the power line, the trail runs alongside a set of railroad tracks for a ways until hooking back to the power line and running between 2 lines. When you turn right off the power line, there is a gradual uphill grade through the forest with some tree roots sticking up on the trail. Overall, this is an easy trail any vehicle type could traverse. You will have dense forest views once away from the power line, and there are many other trails to explore in the area. There are no amenities on the trail, but the cell phone service was decent. The Nearest services and supplies are in Chemult, Oregon, approximately 15 minutes south.
