Trail Overview
This trail leads to Frazier Campground and begins as a well-maintained road that is wide enough for two vehicles to pass comfortably. As it enters the forest, the road narrows to a single lane, so watch for other users traveling to and from the campground and use the available space to pass safely. Beyond Frazier Campground, the road becomes progressively less maintained and eventually takes on a rougher, user-maintained character. Rain has created deep channels and ruts in the roadway, and the route continues climbing before opening onto a higher plateau. The final section becomes rocky and quite bumpy, but it also offers beautiful views across the surrounding landscape. The trail ultimately ends at a wire gate. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
Difficulty
The trail starts easy but becomes considerably rougher after the campground, with erosion, rocks, and uneven terrain adding difficulty toward the end.
