Trail Overview

The first stage of this trail is well maintained; however, near the end of the trail, a large fallen tree blocks the trail. It is too large to remove with a chainsaw, but vehicles can carefully drive around it. The trail passes through beautiful Ponderosa pine forest with a few branches protruding into the roadway, so wider vehicles should watch for potential pinstriping or tire damage. A sign around the fourth mile indicates that maintenance ends, although the route continues to show regular tire tracks. The first portion is well maintained and suitable for most vehicles, while the final section becomes user-maintained. Several side spurs branch from the main trail, and the latter half appears to be popular with quads, SxSs, and ATVs. This route is subject to Seasonal Designation. Please check local regulations and current conditions before traveling.
