Trail Overview
This trail follows a gravel road alongside a powerline corridor and provides a beautiful, low-stress route through the area. The road features a series of rolling hills and frequent dips, creating a fun whoops-style ride that adds some excitement without becoming overly difficult. This route is highly recommended as an alternative way to reach Hole in the Ground, avoiding some of the rougher dirt roads that lead there. The surface is generally easy to navigate, but drivers should remain on the established gravel path, as the soft edges and surrounding vegetation can quickly pull a vehicle off line. The area has a large population of rabbits, so use caution and avoid excessive speeds to help prevent collisions. Overall, this is a scenic and enjoyable powerline road that offers a fun drive with excellent access to one of the area’s highlights. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker. This trail has seasonal designation between 04/01 and 11/30.
