Trail Overview
This trail follows a gravel road along a powerline corridor and is a fun, easy drive through the area. There are plenty of small hills and dips along the way that give the road a bit of a whoops feel without making it too challenging. It’s also a great way to get to Hole in the Ground without having to take some of the rougher roads in the area. The road itself is pretty straightforward, but stick to the main gravel track. The edges can be soft, and the vegetation can make it surprisingly easy to get pulled off the road. There are also a lot of rabbits in this area, so keep your speed down and watch for them crossing the road. Overall, it’s a scenic, enjoyable route that adds a little fun to the drive and provides an easy alternative into Hole in the Ground. This trail has seasonal designation between 04/01 and 11/30. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
