Trail Overview

This is a beautifully maintained trail that serves as one of the area’s main arterial roads, providing reliable access to many of the surrounding routes. The road is well maintained and surfaced with red gravel, making it noticeably less dusty than many of the nearby sandy trails and creating a more comfortable driving experience. Several side trails feature deep sandy conditions; some remain accessible, while others have become heavily overgrown or are completely unmaintained. Although there are one or two potential camping spots, camping directly along this road is not recommended due to the steady amount of passing traffic and the dust generated by other vehicles. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
