Trail Overview

This unmaintained shortcut provides a fun connection between surrounding trails while offering a more secluded drive through the forest. It begins as a well-defined road before quickly narrowing into a sandy route with dense vegetation encroaching from both sides, making pinstriping possible for wider vehicles. The trail appears to receive relatively little use and winds through thick underbrush before crossing a small rise and reconnecting with the surrounding trail network. Although the route remains passable, its narrow width and overgrown vegetation make it better suited to ATVs and SxSs. Overall, it is a short but enjoyable connector that offers a quieter alternative to the main routes. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.

Difficulty

Full-size 4x4s and pickups should expect pinstriping due to the tight vegetation and narrow trail corridor.
